(Sichuan Hejia Group) held a special meeting on Industry-Education Integration and School-Enterprise Cooperation Exchange. The meeting invited representatives from Sichuan Vocational and Technical College, Detu Education Group and other parties to jointly explore innovative models that combine industrial overseas expansion with talent cultivation. The purpose of this meeting was to create an internationally competitive industry-education integration platform through deep cooperation, promote the vocational education and industry in China, and inject new momentum into Sichuan Hejia's international industrial cooperation overseas.

Speech by Xia Chaojia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Group



Xia Chaojia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sichuan Hejia Industrial (Group) Co., Ltd, delivered a welcome speech, in which he first introduced the history and achievements of the group over the past 46 years. He stated that Sichuan Hejia Group started from a street-level production team with advanced strategic vision and strong execution, gradually developed into a large industrial group with diversified industries including auto parts, testing equipment and valve manufacturing. He emphasized that throughout its development, Sichuan Hejia Group has always adhered to strive to be the best, dare to be the best, focusing on technological innovation and talent cultivation. Through the acquisition and integration of high-quality enterprise resources, Sichuan Hejia's three major manufacturing enterprises—CHINA Chengdu Auto Parts Co., Ltd, Chengdu Chengbao Development Co., Ltd and Sichuan Feiqiu Group Co., Ltd have all grown into industry leaders, establishing a leading position within the sector and demonstrating strong technological capabilities and industry influence.



When discussing the international expansion, Chairman Xia pointed out that going global will be an important strategy and core task for Sichuan Hejia over the next three to five years. We have reached a cooperation intention with organizations such as the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) of Nigeria, planning to establish a national automotive standards system in Nigeria and build a complete industrial chain integrating production, sales, after-sales service and talent cultivation.



Remarks by Lin Hai, Deputy Director of the International Business Department of the Group



Lin Hai, Deputy Director of the International Business Department of Sichuan Hejia, further elaborated on Sichuan Hejia's strategic plan in the overseas expansion at the meeting. He pointed out that Chinese companies going overseas has become an irreversible trend and the key to going global lies in systematization and building an ecosystem. Lin Hai stated that we are not merely selling products, but creating a complete industrial ecosystem. The overseas strategy focuses on its advantageous projects such as automobiles and standard-setting, choosing Africa, particularly Nigeria, as a key market. By cooperating with local governments and institutions, they aim to establish customized local markets and build a full-chain layout from production and sales to after-sales service. Our goal is to drive the simultaneous export of Chinese standards, technology and talent through industrial globalization, providing momentum for local economy and industrial upgrading.



Remarks by Amy, Deputy Director of the International Business Department of the Group



Amy, Deputy Director of the International Business Department of Sichuan Hejia, emphasized the education market in Africa, especially Nigeria during the meeting. She pointed out that Africa has 54 countries with a total population of 1.5 billion, of which Nigeria alone has 230 million people and more than half of the population is under 30. There is an urgent demand for talent cultivation, but vocational education resources are relatively scarce, providing a broad space for us to carry out vocational education cooperation. Amy suggested actively learning from the dual system vocational education in Germany, the Minerva Schools at KGI with no physical campus and the DETA organization's competition-driven training and teaching methods to promote innovative education cases that combine vocational talent cultivation with enterprise projects. By combining this with China’s context, it is possible to create a Chinese-characteristic approach to vocational education going global. By integrating various resources, this can set a successful example for Chinese vocational education abroad and provide strong talent support for more Chinese enterprises going global.



Remarks by Wen Feng, Vice Chairman of the Sino-German Industry and Talent Cooperation Organization



Wen Feng, Vice Chairman of the Sino-German Industry and Talent Cooperation Organization, shared the dual system vocational education in Germany. He believes that the key to the success of the dual system vocational education in Germany lies in deep school-enterprise collaboration, allowing students to be fully exposed to real production environments during their studies, thus achieving a close integration of theory and practice. At the meeting, he also mentioned that Detu Education has rich experience in Sino-German cooperation and the development of industrial colleges and has established partnerships with numerous governments, schools, and enterprises. Through the collaboration of governments, enterprises and  educational institutions, a comprehensive ecosystem of industry-education integration can be built. In this cooperation, the Sino-German Cooperation Organization will fully leverage its resource advantages to help Sichuan Vocational and Technical College and Sichuan Hejia achieve breakthroughs in areas such as Sino-African cooperation.



Speech by Yang Ding, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College Party



Yang Ding, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College, stated that Sichuan Vocational and Technical College possesses abundant vocational education resources and practical experience, which can provide talent support during the process of industry going global. He expressed willingness to leverage the advantages of vocational education in the cooperation with Sichuan Hejia to empower the project. He emphasized that the cooperation should focus on practical implementation, developing courses according to enterprise needs to ensure their applicability. Regarding operational challenges faced in exporting vocational education, such as language, acclimatization and safety issues. President Yang proposed finding training institutions in Nigeria to come to China for training and guidance from Sichuan Vocational and Technical
College, creating a sustainable model of local enrollment, training and improvement at Sichuan Vocational and Technical College, local training. He pledged that the college will mobilize all its resources to advance cooperation with Sichuan Hejia and jointly cultivate professionals who meet the demands of the international market for industry going global.



Remarks by Chen Bo,  Founder of the Sichuan Vocational and Technical College Institute of Industry-Education Integration  (Project Team)



Chen Bo, the founder of the Sichuan Vocational and Technical College Institute of Industry-Education Integration (project team), expressed his recognition and respect for Sichuan Hejia's establishment of an industry-education integration model at the meeting. He also proposed a specific cooperation plan for industry-education integration based on the basic situation of Sichuan Vocational and Technical College. He suggested that both sides could cooperate in various industries such as power infrastructure, information infrastructure, road construction, automobile manufacturing and financial services, integrating resources to achieve goals such as vocational education going global, talent going global and industries going global. Chen Bo recommended that the proposed Hejia College should implement overseas vocational education, utilizing the Public Welfare Co-Creation platform jointly built by Sichuan Vocational and Technical College and the Sichuan Education Foundation as a starting point, to jointly establish a comprehensive industry-education integration platform, and actively explore the establishment of joint training centers in overseas markets such as Nigeria to achieve the internationalization of vocational education.



At this meeting, all parties engaged in in-depth discussions and reached consensus on Sichuan Hejia's overseas strategy and the integration of industry and education. From Sichuan Hejia's industrial expansion plans to Sichuan Vocational and Technical College's empowerment in vocational education and from overseas market analysis to exploring innovative talent cultivation models, the meeting provided a clear direction for future cooperation. The successful convening of this meeting marks a solid step forward in the collaboration between Sichuan Vocational and Technical College and Hejia Group in t industry-education integration. Both parties will work hand in hand to achieve the organic integration of industrial expansion and talent cultivation, contributing wisdom and strength to international industrial cooperation.
